In memory of Suzi: the star of Lahore Zoo

It feels like yesterday when I went to the zoo, and came face to face with this beautiful, huge animal.

That was the day of my first meeting with Suzi. I was two years old, and like all children, I too wanted to present her with the gift of money.

Hearing about Suzi's death felt like an important and innocent part of my childhood was over. The charming smile of this African beauty continued to melt my heart whenever I visited the zoo.

But alas, all good things must come to an end...
