The other side of Lahore
While the Old Food Street had a completely different history and environment, there is a side of Lahore that has gained popularity in the recent years.

Lahore food festivals have gathered pace and people are actually coming out in huge numbers to attend them. Its a good sign because the country is coming past the security concerns and providing entertaining events for the people.

This, however, is a completely different side of Lahore that is gaining popularity. The festivals organized by popular brands mainly include food stalls set up by famous restaurants. Musical concerts and activities for children are also arranged, making it a complete family event.
The best part about such festivals is that they also highlight traditional food, providing the opportunity to the people to enjoy both modern and cultural tastes of the city.

And of course, our very own Chaye!

Let's all hope and pray that such events keep taking place. After all, Lahoris' need all the excuse to come out and enjoy food!
