Lahore, when it comes to history, has its own stories to tell. The city was ruled by the Mughal and Sikh Empire, and also served as the capital of Punjab during the empire of Mahmud Ghaznavi and the British. Even the resolution for independence was made in the very heart of Lahore!

Being a resident of Lahore, for as long as I remember, the city for me till now was just a place I grew up in; with uncountable personal memories.

What's extremely fascinating for me, and I am sure for everybody who grew up in this vibrant city, is to imagine how much Lahore has changed over the decades; to see how different this lively city was before our time.

Fortunately, I have my grandfather’s photographic collection of some places in Lahore that has fulfilled my curiosity from time to time.

So before exploring the nook and corners of Lahore, let’s revisit the place as it was a generation ago, and compare it with what it is now!

Woah! This was one heck of a straight through the time machine ride! Lahore has a lot to offer in every aspect, so it's surely going to be a memorable journey. As rightly stated,

"You have not been born until you have visited Lahore."
